We Are Not from Here

Pulga, Chico, and Pequeña understand the danger surrounding their Guatemalan town, but a new threat leaves them no safe choice except to flee. They travel through Mexico toward the United States, following the perilous route of La Bestia with little more than one another and the hope of reaching safety. Their journey tests their resilience and exposes the human cost of displacement, violence, and a border crossing undertaken for survival.
