Rumble Fish

A junior-high-school boy idolizes his older brother, whose reputation makes him seem like the coolest and toughest person in their neighborhood. Determined to become just like him, the younger boy measures himself against an image he does not fully understand. Their relationship exposes the distance between admiration and reality, forcing him to confront what strength, independence, and loyalty mean when the person he follows cannot provide an easy model.
