Crispin--The Cross of Lead

In fourteenth-century England, an orphaned peasant boy is falsely accused of theft and murder and forced to flee the village he has always known. His escape brings him into the company of a larger-than-life traveling juggler who knows a dangerous secret. Their journey challenges the boy to understand his identity, survive pursuit, and decide whom he can trust in a rigid and violent society.
