The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole

Adrian Mole continues his diary as he moves through adolescence in early-1980s England. His devotion to Pandora, worries about his parents, literary ambitions, school life, and certainty that he is an unrecognized intellectual collide with events he only partly understands. Adrian records family upheaval and public events with comic seriousness, revealing more to the reader than he intends. The novel continues the story begun in The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13¾ and later became the basis of a television series.
